There’s so much we don’t realize
And we don’t have to act like we know
There’s so much we don’t understand
But one thing’s for sure
We don’t know where we’ll go
I got my intuition telling me we’re not just specks of dusk
I’ve got this premonition telling me that we’ve just got to trust
It’s a lot to face (But we’ve got each other)
So let’s spread the vibe around
What if death is just a passing from clay to light?
What if we’re the same soul with different eyes?
What if we find we have parallel lives?
What if we discover more than one way was right?
I’ve got my hearts ambition telling me we’re no coincidence
I’ve got this superstition telling me that we’re no accident
It’s a lot to face (But we’ve got each other)
So let’s spread the vibe around
We don’t know…We just don’t know
There’s so much we don’t realize
And we don’t have to act like we know
Thank god we are finally at a place in history where even the leaders of the world’s biggest religious and spiritual establishments are starting to open their minds to the possibilities that multiple paths may lead to the same destination.
We are obviously a very complex race. The repetition of history has finally taught us how very dangerous it can be to blindly align ourselves to any religious doctrine. We’ve learned that it’s apparently extremely easy for us to make the mistake of allowing a human manifested ideology to imprison our spiritual potential.
Aside from the obvious political motivators such as control, power, and greed; the lesser but still important contributors are hereditary conditioning/cultural/ tradition.
BUT..I propose that the two primal reasons we’ve had such a hard time breaking the cycles of religious and theological mind control are:
- We are petrified of death. We inherently struggle with the thought of losing our individual identities and surrendering to the fact that we just don’t know (or can’t fathom) what will happen to us when we die. Even though nature emanates the cycle of life for us to learn from, our historical perception of “reality” has made it next to impossible for us not to try to control our fear of dying.
- We are spiritual beings who desperately want to connect to our source and believe our lives have purpose and meaning. This is part of what makes us so unique. Having this built in “need” actually makes it easier for us to get lead down the wrong path.
It’s finally becoming common knowledge that any one ideology that claims to have all the answers is not only antiquated in their thinking but most likely stunting the spiritual growth of its practitioners.
“Spread The Vibe Around” is about continuing to celebrate and spread the message that it’s OK for us to admit that we don’t have all the answers. The more we accept the fact that we “just don’t know”, maybe we’ll better be able to evolve our spiritual abilities to connect to the true source of our existence.
